The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) awarded Michael Oristaglio the Outstanding Senior Career Academic Member Award. Professor Oristaglio received this award because “the success of Yale Energy Studies is a direct result of his vision, administrative perseverance, teaching, and mentoring to prepare students for the challenges of a global energy landscape. It has become a highly respected program within Yale College, equipping students with critical domain knowledge and applied skills to advance energy and climate work across inter-dependent fields.”
