Congratulations to Daniel Field who won a prestigious “best student paper” prize at the annual Society for the Study of Integrated and Comparative Biology meeting in Austin TX

The award has been named for Marvalee and Dave Wake (UC Berkeley Emerti and National Academy of Science member), who also happened to be the judges for this year’s competition. The title of the paper is “Reanalysis of microRNAs reveals an archosaur rather than a lepidosaur affinity for turtles.”
