Juan Lora is the recipient of the 2022 Harold C. Urey Prize from the Division of Planetary Sciences of the American Astronomical Society.

The Urey Prize is giving for outstanding achievement in planetary research by an early career scientist. The citation, which you can read at https://dps.aas.org/prizes/2022, notes Juan’s development of a novel global circulation model of Titan, his contributions to the NASA Dragonfly mission, his work on atmospheric rivers and other aspects of Earth’s climate, and his mentorship of students.
